Ed,
Perhaps a little overkill on precautions but certainly make sure 
somebody knows you are under there and check in with them every half 
hour or so.
I have little use for cell phones and all the babbling people do on 
them without looking where they are going or sitting next to me in a 
plane or a restaurant -  except in an emergency.

Whenever I crawl under a car or walk in the woods by myself (we have 
lots of fierce vermin called deer here),  I have a phone within 
reach. No camera, no gaming capability, no satellite TV, no 
contacting my broker to find out which Company has screwed 
stockholders, employees or pensioners recently.
Just 911 or a friend -  "Help - Here is where I am and I have a problem."
