[BMWCSRegistry] Not E9 but still BMW - E24 Harsh 1st to 2nd gearchange.

Greetings All,
As your advice sorted out my last problem in no time, I thought I'd ask
advice for another problem.

Wondering if anyone has any advice about a harsh change from first to second
gear in my automatic, 1988 E24. It's always been there but seems to be
getting worse. It's more noticeble when the engine/transmission are hot and
seems worse on a light throttle setting. The vehicle has travelled
approximately 190,000 klm.
Would appreciate any advice.
