[BMWCSRegistry] True Colors?

The post about the blue on the original badge and the "official" BMW Blue  
make an interesting point. I compared my decal(same as the badge, the emblems  
front and rear and on the B pillars, and an old, old badge possibly from the  
early 60s. The official blue is definitely darker and richer than the decal or  
the photos I have seen.
 
If we go with the official blue the new badges will be different than the  
old.
 
I have only seen 356 badges on line from the supplier we will be using. The  
colors are rich and deep. I don't think they will have trouble matching 
whatever  color is chose.
 
I have no preference. So I am leaving it up to the rest of you to work it  
out. I will email Diane at the 356 Registry to see what she needs in the way of  
paint numbers or names or what.
