[BMWCSRegistry] Window regulator repair

Some time ago I inquired about the P/N used for the Mercedes heavy rivet that also fixes coupe motors.? No response.


Today, excavating in the tech articles, I came up with the number:? 115-586-01-72.? Called the local MB dealer and was told that number has been updated to 115-991-01-05 and is described as "Pin" and is part of a repair kit for window motors.? Cost only $3.24 but is a?backorder item from Germany maybe 5-6 weeks (no ETA given for backorders from ze alte heimat).? Hmmmm, maybe Maximilian or CNPR could get it quicker.


Now I have to dig out my clunkety window regulator - gears aren't meshing well at all - and see what I can do. Fortunately it's on the passenger side and isn't used frequently.
