[BMWCSRegistry] Tail of the Dragon

Not sure if anyone out there gets "The Winding Road," but it is an online
car magazine.  A few months ago, it had a good write up on the Tail of the
Dragon.

OK James,

That has to be somewhere in my backyard and yet I’ve never heard of the
famous “Tail of the Dragon”, fill me in. Do you know route 90 between Black
Mountain and Lake Lure where they filmed the movie Dirty Dancing? Or what
about hiway 80 between Marion and Little Switzerland?

      weekend.  7:45 on a beautiful Saturday morning, mist burning off the
      lower bits.  Wish it was in my coupe, but the V-8 Ford I was driving
      was more than adequate for a first timer.

      An amazing road.

      Although this trip was entirely out of necessity (no other way to get
      to the Knoxville airport from Lake Nantahala), I'll be back, someday.
