Hi Guys:
Many moons ago, when the first version of these were produced, I
provided a little write up explaining how to use a few small pieces of
rubber hose to act as "shock absorbers" to reduce the likelihood of
popping the welds on the fasteners. Mine is still safely attached to
the coupe grill to this day, so it does work! Maybe someone can find
this in the email archives, 'cause Mr. gates destroyed my copy long ago.
