David

Thankyou for your comment but basically its very sound - the work to be done
could be filed under 'preventive maintenance' and the joy to me of being a
worthy custodian of this fine machine.

Seasons greetings

Richard

"Over the Xmas break I will be removing the black alloy sill covers to check
on rust....."

I have a theory - if you look for a problem you will find one!!!

Richard - I seriously hope I am wrong.

David.

Over the Xmas break I will be removing the black alloy sill covers to check
on rust and intend to clean up the outer sills where the edge lips back to
the underside of the car,to explain - poorly placed car jacks have tended
to bend the lip, remove paint and surface rust is evident.

My question is the outer sill is slightly visually evident below the alloy
sill cover and I wonder what the colour would be when new - would it be the
colour of the car i.e. polaris silver or whould it have been black the same
as the alloy sill cover?

Thanks

Richard
