You do not need German bulbs. Plenty of GE and Sylvania that work are 
available.
Likewise the pointy fuses (I'll let that "academics" remark pass - 
whatever it means) .
Ask around several auto supply houses. If I can find them in l'll old 
Edinboro, PA at an independent store - and NOT at Wallymart - you can 
too.

As for Agnew -  unlike the kid that got sentenced to a few for 
stealing a candy bar from 7/11 or having a roach in his pocket (major 
time in TX) both he and his buddy Nixon got off a lot easier.
Of course they both might be permanent guests of honor at the Imp's 
barbeque.  Who knows until it's too late.

What the problem may be is that Coupe bulb sockets wear out and get 
very sloppy and the connector spades get as limp as the response of a 
very high level government person (fill in the one of your choice) 
when asked a question for which he has not been coached.
