Peter -
We do and always have endeavored to not exclude our ancestral 2000 CS
- aka Model 120.
But in the bright light of reality, it does differ from the E9's by
quite a bit - and I am making no reference to aesthetics. Eye of the
Beholder as Rod Serling once wrote.

Did you submit a photo for the calendar? No CSL was included either
or even my own gorgeous Ilse was not there and I'm sure she is pissed.
Total calendar production from start to finish was in the hands of he
who volunteered to do it and not enough time was available to
consider all the aspects.

Loren's effort is much appreciated - maybe some omissions can be
corrected for the 2008 calendar - as well as a bigger run if the
interest is there.

The number of 2000 CS's is severely reduced as is availability of
parts especially because they do not interchange very much with their
slightly later and substantially far more abundant E9 descendants.
Thus people with expertise or even familiarity are quite limited, too.

I have written before about the "local/questionable" dealership
situation. you mention.
Too bad so many of you are not near Erie (yes Erie) PA where my BMW
tech and parts guys are savvy about old BMW's.
In fact some of them are not too fond of the overly complex design
and excessively engineered new multi mega buck BMW's or their much
more abundant customers with the much newer BMW''s.
I wonder why.
