Subject: [BMWCSRegistry] Missing "B" Pillar

Went on a mountain run yesterday with a bunch of off brand German cars.
I was showing them the way in our CS- which was fun.
Smooth is better than raw HP on the twisty bits. The CS performed admirably.
At a scenic overlook we were in a lot filled with all kinds of incredible
sports car iron (Lambos, Vettes, GT3 Porsches, Ferraris, and more Caymans.)
*It's funny (to me) how the CS captures an admiring audience where the
others don't. We park, get surrounded, and none of the others do.
Somebody says, "I've always loved the lines of the old BMW's." He's pointing
at my car. "The way the A and B pillars are, the big windows front and
rear..."
Hey, wait a minute- my copy of the CS doesn't HAVE A "B" PILLAR!
I got cheated!
Question is, should I correct the person- or just let it go.
The CS, of course, is a classic 'pillarless' "B" design coupe.
I wonder if we can make a list, albeit a short one, of the other great
coupes that don't have "B" pillars.
1. Jaguar "XJC"
2. more????
