This topic jostled my brain into remembering I have a new stereo 8-track
unit somewhere up in the loft.
It might have been for a Chrysler product...or purchased for family's '66
Galaxie 7 Litre (428 Shelby; wish still had it!)
If anyone's interested I'll root around next time I'm up there. Happy to
donate to a good home. Could certainly add an aura of period-correctness ;-)

If they still require vacuum tubes, I have a few dozen from my Dad's stash
with which I might part even though they are family relics and memorabilia.

Certainly no cassette capability but you might get lucky and find one that
receives CW transmissions and all provide the soothing crackle and hiss of
AM from Sunspots, passing under power lines or through under passes and
tunnels.
