[BMWCSRegistry] : Cabrio pic/Opinion

Very nice photo and certainly unusual but my own opinion is that the
Coupe looks best as a Coupe.
As a schmatta top it becomes a lot less distinctive on the highway
and might well cause the E9 to be mistaken even more frequently for a
Corvair.
And yes, unless a lot of steel has been added somewhere, this would
twist and flex like a politician on the campaign trail or attempting
to defend his/her previously disastrous decisions -
(Fill in your choice here) - thus making the Cabrio, which looks
like a full bore convertible from the photo, more desirable for the
Campus Queen in the Homecoming parade than on a track or driving
twisties at speed.

The money spent on this would have bought a lot of nice upgrades to
engine, gearbox, ABS brakes, remote mirrors, sound system, and,
dare I even think it ? - AWD - nah,

And I see they have not figured out how to get the windows to drop
flush with the door sill.

But thanks Don. I will add it to CSR collection of departures from
the mundane, including a 4 door Coupe and a pick up truck coupe.
