[BMWCSRegistry] Seat compatibility question

I've seen the e30 sport seats (best looking and most supportive I've found of that vintage) mounted into '02's before, so the modification for that swap is probably pretty common, and similar to the e9's. They came in multiple colors, vinyl cloth or leather, with horizontal line pattern for the M3's and convertibles (which also have a shorter lever for the backrest to clear the seatbelt in the cabrio's) or vertical like in the "is" models. They have multiple adjustments, including thigh bolster and grip you like a glove. My wife has a e30 325is and I love her seats. They appear on ebay all the time, but clean leather seats are getting harder to find as they are usually neglected (it's an e30 after all) and 15+ years old now. If you find a ratty set on the cheap, the dealership can get the foam bolster kits new, and World Upholstery has pre-cut fabric/leather/vinyl sets (last I checked).
