I figured I might give Karmann some credit for good design - other 
than the aesthetics of a Coupe body.
I guess I was wrong - he didn't do much else of worth of which I 
know.  That silly Ghia VW doesn't count.

Hard to really dislike someone who made so many stupid mistakes while 
producing one of the best looking body styles BMW ever marketed.
Maybe the E3 and 1600/2002 dash was designed by a former Karmann 
employee who stole the
blueprints?
