I'm thinking of plotting these events - it could be seasonal, perhaps linked
to fuel prices but certainly there's a PhD in it!

Wow,
I feel like Rumple Stilskin....When I went to sleep in September 2005, gas
prices were shooting over the $3.50 mark (thanks to the whole Katrina thing)
Cheney was all over the press looking like Satan with a sh*t-eating grin on
his face, Bush was asking congress for more money while claiming his war was
successfull, Paris Hilton was making an arse of herself on national
television, and Art and Chuck were going head-to-head. Nice to know things
are right in the world!!!
