Welcome Michael! The only thing you did wrong is join this group!
They(us) will not hesitate to school you. Many here apply the logic a
girlfriend of mine had. As she said "I say what I'm thinking to hear if
it makes sense". Remain proud of your Coupe, no matter what anyone here
thinks. We are good people overall, we just suffer the same delusion you
have acquired in owning a coupe. I'm not sure what you will "learn"
here, but most of all your optimism in "Meeting some of you" is risky.
Meet these people in a well lit place with lots of kitty litter, fire
extinguishers, beer, hard liquor, at least two of every part you want to
touch or modify, first aid kit, cell phone, lawyer, jack stands(no
concrete blocks allowed here- see previous posts)aaa card and wife's
credit card. 

BTW- I have a mint Registry Grille Badge also. Willing to trade for a
non mint CSL or maybe a nice coupe model (I'd like a coupe in my
collection without rust, albeit plastic.
