  Michael,
Read the fine print and then read it again. Over time I have heard a
number of unpleasant tales about Allstate (and other) insurance.
They are not usually rated very high in their industry.
(If they are still part of Sears, however, Craftsman tools do live up
to their claims).

Anybody have a real life experience making an insurance claim to this outfit?
Call me paranoid, but if you have seen their commercials claiming to
reduce your premium under certain circumstances, I am suspicious -it
is not quite specified what that charming young man on TV is selling
or what the ubiquitous fine print says even if plain English.

Garaged and with a 7500 mile limit are the only restrictions in their
policy? 7500 is sort of reasonably substantial if you live where, as
I do, the months of Coupe driving are limited to about 5 or 6 but In
SoCal and such that could probably be eaten up rather quickly.

And many of us know that Coupe odometers often give up after many
years. How then can you document, and will Allstate accept, your
mileage statements or give you the New Orleans treatment?
