I'd have to say it falls somewhere between these two statements, but just
an opinion. Compared to what BMW is putting out now, it certainly is an
improvement, but I have to imagine that both the Panamera and the Rapide
are better looking cars - which will be this car's contemporaries - not the
CLS, which is currently available and will be dated by this car's launch.
This attempt is unlike the e9, which was (& still is) more beautiful than
its contemporaries. (If that sounds right?)

I think it looks pretty damn good. Hopefully, it's a thinly disguised
version of the next 7 series. There were some different views in the most
recent Autoweek.
