I rebuilt my Zeniths and it didn't make a bit of difference. My 74 ran
just as bad..I was trying to correct a stumbling problem, but to no
avail. I later found out my original alternator was part of the
problem..the insulation inside (on the diode wires) was so
deteriorated that constant shorts to ground sucked all the power out of
the ignition system. So with a new alternator most (not all) of the
stumbling disappeared. Another saying: Live, spend money, and learn.
