[BMWCSRegistry] Door Panel Plastic Sheets

Steve: my guess is the the plastic prevents condensation/moisture from 
compromising the interior panels which are cardboard based, as you 
know. The plastic serves the same function as the aluminum (or 
weatherproof paper) backing on home insulation. BTW, the plastic is 
called "Acela" according to my repair manual...Acela is what Amtrak 
calls its high-speed trains.  (They hired an expensive consultant to 
invent a name for the new trains that wasn't supposed to have been used 
by anyone before!)
