[BMWCSRegistry] The Sweet Sound of Exhaust

When I was trying out to be a juvenile deliquent/hot rodder, we would cut  
holes in the exhaust pipes before the muffler before the driver and  passenger 
doors. We were drag racing chopped and channeled Fords, '57 Chevy's  with holes 
cut in the hoods to accommodate GMC Blowers, and bored and stroked  whatevers.
 
There were caps covering the holes and we would unbolt the caps and run the  
pipes wide open. It was like von Karajian, the old Nazi Stormtrooper, 
conducting  Beethoven's Fifth with the Berlin Phil. Orchestra while the Allies 
firebombed  the city. He is probably buried at Bitberg(sp) with the other SS guys.
 
After reading all the back and forth, I am taking my pathetic aftermarket  
radio/cassette player out. I will listen to my exhaust system, one muffler, four 
 inch pipes, headers. Period. Much  more entertaining.
