[BMWCSRegistry] Article on Coupe values

Art's point is precisely why I'm in favor of the appreciation of
coupes. It's absurd to wish that a car's value will not increase over
the years purely for the sake of non-appreciation to keep the car
affordable. Ironically, this mindset only serves to make the coupe
increasingly unaffordable. Most other assets in our lives that we
invest in for long term purposes requires higher maintenance costs
whether it be a house, a car, even higher education (continuing ed).
Higher coupe values allow us to justify the inevitable rise in
expensive parts and maintenance of the car(s) to continue our
passionate hobby even knowing that if the car is one day (regretfully)
sold we can recoup a greater part of our investment that was put into
the car. Maintaining a passionate hobby while benefiting from market
driven appreciation is something that every astute car collector
should want.
