[BMWCSRegistry] About Coupe values

I am not an astute collector. I am not even a collector. Perhaps I  will get 
back all or some of the money I spend on my coupe. I do not invest it  in my 
coupe. I really don't think about it that way. When I purchase a photo or  a 
modestly priced painting by an unknown and never to be known artist, I do it  
because my eye tells my brain that I am in the presence of something beautiful.  
In some unknowable way I hope I am enriched by the experience.  I feel that  
I am. But that's it.
 
I fell in love with that beautiful, curvaceous,  
moving-while-it-is-standing-still body. Irrational, foolish, childish, probably.  My wife says I treat my 
Coupe like an aging starlet. She is right: high  maintenance, moody, a 
depreciating investment. 
 
I like it that way. I hope it doesn't change.
