[BMWCSRegistry] Ignition, odometer & fan blades

My experience with the nine blade fan is a car-by-car issue. Some have no  
problems, some experience what Ulf has experienced. I do agree with him about  
doing the other things first. Or even after a nine blade conversion. We have to 
 treat our cooling systems like we treat our cars. As my wife says about me, 
I  treat my coupe like and aging starlet.
 
I am ordering a Petronix from Carl. But if you are purchasing one used, if  
that happens, be aware there are two versions. Something about right facing  
points or left facing points. There are photos on his web site.
 
Spring in the form of a 60+ degree, sunny, calm day has come to the  
Northeast. And my coupe will be at the upholsterer's for at least another week.  Oh 
the horror.
