Steve,
Sorry to see you have some badges left over. Give it time and I
expect people will come around since this is likely the last chance
in this millennium or until the last Coupe turns to dust.
Speaking of badges. I have still not received the sample badge I
loaned that lady. Can you maybe light a fire under her ass? I am a
tad pissed!
As for scraping the undercarriage, I'm not certain that's a good idea
unless you see signs of rust or the existing coating is peeling. I
wouldn't go scraping down to bare metal unless clearly called for.
Actually, I never suggested eggshell black although I would not doubt
that there are birds or reptiles that produce such a color. The
edible internal parts are probably more like most conventional eggs
and sometimes tasty, if strong flavored, if they haven't started
hatching - especially alligators.
I think I heard somewhere that the Chinese bury eggs that turn black
(with or with shell, I don't know) for many years before digging them
up. I've seen some pickled eggs in bars that look less appealing.
In any event my favoured Krylon colour for such most applications is
Satin Black. Don't know where Dan's egg shell black reference came
from.
Keep your cars dry.
