Dunno if you have the time/patience or inclination but .........this is an 
VERY good set of photos and explanation by a Dutch guy re tearing down and 
reassy of a 750i V12 motor .
It's 7 pages but very interesting .........WHAT a complex motor on top and 
outside , but when you get inside it's really like the old M30 straight 
6-motor but with hydraulic lifters
