[BMWCSRegistry] Driver's side door gasket 72 3.0CS

I can't afford new gaskets. But the only problem part on both doors is  along 
the chrome door sill. So I unscrewed the top chrome sill, took out the  
gasket that runs along it, made a clean cut at each end, screwed it back  together 
and it looks terrific, in my eyes. Who's to know except now everyone on  the 
list.
 
And since I don't drive the car in the rain or when the humidity is  
approaching 100% or during any other times of moisture I should be ok.
 
According to an article in the latest Hemmings Sports & Exotics Full  
Restoration back to factory better for a 2002 can run up $25,000 in parts!!!  Half of 
that is probably gaskets
